An action scene is a section of a story where physicality and/or movement becomes a focus and the flow of events in the story becomes fast-paced. A lot of the time, this takes the form of some sort of fight or battle.

I’ve talked about a lot of things at this point and shared a lot of my perspective on writing, but up until this point I haven’t really talked about what I am currently and actively working on, nor what I hope to do in the future.

The other day while working on something for Stories Across Borders and my post about sci-fi stories I’d recommend to people, it occurred to me that I’ve never really discussed why I talk so much about mediums other than prose or poetry when those are the mediums I’m primarily active in.
